ENJOY YOUR LIFE GIRL!

Image
#Girlsgist I will be talking about the 'HOW' that is, in what manner or way we can Value our Preparatory Season. 5. ENJOY YOUR LIFE GIRL! Yeah! This is the last of all my points and it is very necessary and healthy for every girl in her waiting season. I know you may want to know why I brought this to the last point, well this is because a lot of young ladies that are waiting have turned their lives into something else, something that looks miserable or to be pitied on. To the fact that, it now shows in their looks, relationship (even with God), habits and many more areas. Well, This is another area we need to be intentional and practical about as girls in their preparatory seasons. Sister! Please ENJOY your life... Few days back, I was talking to some young persons. I told them that this is the time for me to enjoy my life especially now that I am free or owe no husband any explanation before I travel to where ever I want to or any children to consider an...

DEVELOP YOUR SELF QUALITIES

Image
#Girlsgist I will be talking about the 'HOW' that is, in what manner or way we can Value our Preparatory Season. 4. DEVELOP YOUR SELF QUALITIES This is another area we need to be intentional and practical about as girls in their preparatory seasons. Now, the gist in this aspect is in our personality. Our self qualities are the things that makes us who we are, in other words they are our personality. See ehn! Most of us, our personality is zero. We absolutely have nothing to write about ourselves then what do we expect others to write? Our personality sets us apart in a good way but if yours does not then you have to develop it now that you are still a single girl because you can not take such life to keep some bodies son miserable. Lol! Now let's get serious with this personality thing. We all know ourselves and of course God knows us better. So if for any reason you are praying to get married to a guy with all the sweet qualities and you are not a...

GET TO FIND PURPOSE

Image
#Girlsgist I will be talking about the 'HOW' that is, in what manner or way we can Value our Preparatory Season. 3. GET TO FIND PURPOSE This is another area we need to be intentional and practical about as girls in their preparatory seasons. And this can be done first by asking God to reveal to us what he has called us to do for Him or for the society. Fulfilling purpose is key. Fulfilling purpose is having inner peace. Fulfilling purpose gives Joy and Happiness. Fulfilling purpose is one reason why we are created by God. So you see why we must must all get to find purpose? Everyone of us is born with a unique purpose; either in ministry or career areas etc. So identifying our unique purpose while waiting is so needful. Purpose is so easy to find but a lot of us see it to be one hard work thing and we relent and prefer living an ordinary life, whereas God wants us to do more for Him and to impact lives in our society. See ehn! Purpose is simply our pas...

DISCOVER WHO YOU ARE : TO LOVE YOURSELF

Image
#Girlsgist I will be talking about the 'HOW' that is, in what manner or way we can Value our Preparatory Season. 2. DISCOVER WHO YOU ARE : TO LOVE YOURSELF This is another area we need to be intentional and practical about as girls in their preparatory seasons. Self discovery and self love goes along way in our lives, because most of us are yet to know who we are and we do not love ourselves. Let me tell you about a scripture I love so much; until I came to the understanding of Psalms 139:14-16. I began to have a different perspectives of my Creation and started to love myself more because I found out something powerful about me which made me began to love myself passionately. KJV verse 14; " I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well". I carefully picked up two powerful words here, "FEARFULLY" and "WONDERFULLY" and since then I have had this so muc...

GET TO KNOW GOD.

Image
#Girlsgist So I will be talking about the 'HOW' that is, in what manner or way can we Value our Preparatory Season. 1. GET TO KNOW GOD This is one important way during this season in our lives, because without the knowledge of who God is we may all be like Martha who was always busy and active, throwing herself totally into serving that she never realised that something still more important needed her attention. (This is most of us now, we are so busy and active to other things that we neglect God is saying) Than being like Mary who was more interested in what Jesus had to say and made it her practice to sit at His feet so she could hear every word He spoke in her presence, which was a display of a deep and sincere action of love to Jesus. (Luke 10:38-42) Mary was so intentional and practical about knowing what God have to say through His son and it was for a good course. Girls! Be intentional and practical about knowing God, it makes the difference. Talking...

VALUE YOUR PREPARATORY SEASON

Image
#Girlsgist The parable of the Ten Virgins is one amazing story that shows us the importance of Valuing our preparatory season. (Matthew 25:1-8) I'm very sure we all know or might have heard about this story, where the bible described five to be wise (prepared) and five to be foolish (unprepared). The five wise virgins understood what it means to be prepared, so they waited for  the bridegroom with there filled lamps and with their extra oil. Where as, the other five felt that the oil in there lamps would be enough to keep them till the bridegroom comes. See ehn! The five wise virgins understood that the oil in their lamps will not serve them, maybe they might have also imagined that the groom may not come that day, so they needed to prepare for tomorrow too, so they prepared. A lot of us are waiting for our bridegroom unprepared. Without enough Oil (The revelation of Gods word) in our lives to keep us safe while waiting. This is how it is also in waiting for our B...

OUR WAITING SEASON IS OUR PREPARATORY SEASON

Image
#Girlsgist I saw this beautiful bride on Instagram and I was so captivated by her look, bouquet, hair band and of course the wedding gown. Aren't they just amazingly beautiful? I'm very sure whosoever did her makeup, dressed her up, made the wedding gown or even made her bouquet all went through a process to make her shine differently as the bride. Especially, for the wedding gown, the beaded part melted my heart, so well arranged and clean. It may have taken them months to plan this and to make the brides day extraordinary. What am I even saying? Sisters! Do you know all of these look, dress, etc does not define a beautiful godly woman? Its so unfortunate that most of us as ladies, are so eager and can't wait to look so extraordinary beautiful on our big day which happens to be just a day like this and I'm very sure most of us have been planning on this for about three or more years. In fact, we have in mind the kind of gown, hair, shoes etc to put on or...

BOLDNESS is a Virtue.

Image
#Girlsgist There is a power that works and should work in us as Christians and daughters of God. This power does not come with coldness, fear, depression, inferiority complex or shame. Its the same power that worked things out for most women in the bible such as; Queen Esther, Miriam, Ruth, Abigail and many more beautiful women, that made them outstanding, talked and read about in our world today. Its the same Power that broke protocols for them and made most of them leaders, desirable and admirable women. It is the Power called BOLDNESS! This is one quality of a virtuous woman and this is one good virtue God wants us to possess. • BOLDNESS is been very confident to situations that seems hopeless. • BOLDNESS is not easily freaking out from problems but facing them. • BOLDNESS is waiting patiently for God's will even when it looks like God is not moving. • BOLDNESS is standing out in the place of prayers for yourself and others. • BOLDNESS is coming out of that horr...

THE WOMAN CALLED SARAH.

Image
THE WOMAN CALLED SARAH. _______________________________________ The story of The Woman Called Sarah is a story that proves to us that Gods still loves us and His promises over our lives still remains valid no matter how much mistakes we've made in life. Its a story that reveals a lot but here is one thing I discovered. In Genesis chapter 16, it shows the conversation between Sarah and Abram her husband, where Sarah pleaded with Abram to lay with her maid Hagar and Abram consented to it. Sarah's decision was based on the fact that she had already given up and felt God didn't answer her or blessed her with a child. So out of pain she made that harsh decision. In chapter 17 reads to us about God's promise to Sarah. 17:16a, "And I will bless her, and give thee a son also of her..." 17:19, ''And God said, Sarah thy wife shall bear thee a son indeed; and thou shalt call his name Isaac: and I will establish my covenant with him for an everlas...
