VALUE YOUR PREPARATORY SEASON
#Girlsgist
The parable of the Ten Virgins is one amazing story that shows us the importance of Valuing our preparatory season.
(Matthew 25:1-8)
I'm very sure we all know or might have heard about this story, where the bible described five to be wise (prepared) and five to be foolish (unprepared).
The five wise virgins understood what it means to be prepared, so they waited for the bridegroom with there filled lamps and with their extra oil. Where as, the other five felt that the oil in there lamps would be enough to keep them till the bridegroom comes.
See ehn!
The five wise virgins understood that the oil in their lamps will not serve them, maybe they might have also imagined that the groom may not come that day, so they needed to prepare for tomorrow too, so they prepared.
A lot of us are waiting for our bridegroom unprepared. Without enough Oil (The revelation of Gods word) in our lives to keep us safe while waiting.
This is how it is also in waiting for our Boaz, we need that extra oil to sustain us because it will keep us in check, safe and in perfect rest because it is only a girl with a substantial revelation of God in her life that can keep waiting without fears or worries. Such a girl will keep waiting for her Bridegroom and will eventually go in with Him.
In other words, we have to be prepared in having that extra oil to keep us safe from pains, sorrows, regrets and bitterness, just as the other five girls who were unprepared.
I'm living a question for all of us now.
How prepared are you?
Will be sharing 'How we can be prepared' in a short while.
